V.Ships opens an office in Aalesund
As part of V.Group’s drive to enter the international offshore market, V.Group has signed an office lease agreement for a V.Ships office in Aalesund. The Aalesund area has Norway’s largest concentration of Norwegian offshore vessel owners. From an international perspective, the offshore fleet controlled by offshore ship owners on the west coast of Norway is amongst the largest offshore fleets in the world, says Managing Director of V.Ships Norway, Dag Christoffersen.

V.Ships will be based in the newly built Norwegian Maritime Competence Center (NMK) in Aalesund, in the middle of the world’s largest cluster of advanced offshore technology. The multiple synergies being close to the offshore market, ship owners, manufacturers, the service industry, Aalesund Maritime University and the Offshore Simulator Center, are crucial for a service provider such as V.Ships and V.Ships’ clients. The office in Aalesund will be manned with commercial and technical management staff.
