Adria Winch established in Norway

In May 2014, Adria Winch established the Norwegian company Adria Winch Norway AS. The purpose with the company is to work closer to the marine deck machinery marked with a special focus on the offshore supply fleet in general.
Adria Winch Norway is located in the maritime cluster in the Ålesund region, which has the status as Global Center of Expertise BLUE maritime (GCE). This region is a world leader in design, construction, equipping and operation of advanced vessels for the global oil industry. Adria needs to be close to their important customers, and this is the reason for both the location and the fact that Adria Winch Norway is established.
In June Andreas Røyset was employed as Managing Director for the Norwegian Company. Røyset has experience from the marine cluster in the region. He started his career at the shipyards and then switched to equipment producer/suppliers of different types of deck machinery. He started his work at tech. department, then production and finally switched to product development and sales. Røyset’s main task is to be Adria Winch’s contact in Norway for all of our customers and partners from shipyards designers and finally ship-owners.
